Reworking, Regrouping, and Reflecting...

Hey ya'll! I know it's been a while since I posted to the blog, but I've really been taking some time to myself to think about what's next for Gigee Marie. Certain things have been going great, while other things that I had planned haven't panned out the way I had hoped. So I had to step back for a minute and clear my head. This also meant dusting off my business plan and adjusting my strategies and goals, which I think is always a good thing to do anyway. With that said, I'm still here...still working toward turning this into something big. In the meantime, keep following me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Happy Birthday to Gigee Marie!

I want to start off this post by saying THANK YOU! Thank you so much for supporting Gigee Marie over the past year. It's been such a new and fun experience full of excitement, trial and error, lessons learned, great opportunities, and even a couple emotional breakdowns lol (but really though). But I wouldn't trade it for anything because I feel like this business has truly been rewarding and fulfilling; so many great things have happened for Gigee Marie over this past year than I could have ever imagined. I've learned a lot over this past year and I plan on using those lessons to improve and grow the Gigee Marie brand.

As I mentioned in this post, there are several projects that I've been working on. One of those projects has to do with the expansion of Gigee Marie. As you may know, my ultimate goal is to build Gigee Marie into an accessories brand. I tested the waters by offering jewelry and you guys loved it. But Gigee Marie is particularly know for its handbags (clutches in particular), and I want to keep that going. I want to be able to bring you a unique selection of handbags that can only be found at Gigee Marie. So, in addition to the Gigee Marie branded pieces (and yes, new pieces are now available in the shop so check them out!), we will begin offering a variety of handbags, including handmade bags from other unique designers, vintage bags, and bags that I just love too much not to share with you guys. This carefully curated collection was handpicked by yours truly, and can only be found at Gigee Marie. I plan on adding new pieces on a regular basis so make sure you continue to check the website; I hope you'll love the pieces as much as I do. As always, happy shopping, and I look forward to seeing how you rock your handbag from Gigee Marie (we love to see pics!).
